• Selecting Menu Commands

When you need to select a command from a menu, the documentation lists what you need to select in the following order: Menu name > Command.

For example, if you want to select the Open command from the File menu, the instruction would read as File > Open.

If there is a series of sub-menus, they will appear in the order in which you would need to open them. For example, if you needed to select Hide Grid from the Grid sub-menu in the View menu, the instruction would read as View > Grid > Hide Grid.

• Throughout the Toon Boom Studio documentation, the following terms describe which mouse button to use to perform an action:

  Term	Action
  Press [A]	Press the A button with that displays on your keyboard Square brackets will always surround the name of a keyboard button.
  Click	Click the left mouse button.
  Right-click	Click the right mouse button.
  Double-click	Click the specified mouse button twice rapidly without moving the mouse.
  [Shift]-click	Hold down the [Shift] key and simultaneously click the specified mouse button.
  [Control]-click	Hold down the [Control] key and simultaneously click the specified mouse button.
  Drag	Click the object and hold down the mouse button while moving the mouse.
